Sykah Baladi or Hijaz Ghareeb: it is belong to sykah maqam family,common degrees are do,re,sol. The scale intervals are 3/4, 1, 3/4,1,3/4,11/4,1/2. examples are the verse of Ahwak by Abd Elhalim Hafez,last verse of Elmaazim by Mhammed Abdo,last verse of Elkarnak by Mohammed Abd elwahab,last verse of yalle can yeshjik anini by Om kalthoum. 

Jiharkah maqam: belong to major maqam consist of emphasis of F major  and Do Rast on low octave, songs like mowashah kally lee ya sohb, aklakny eltar by Mhammed abdo, fok ghosnek ya lamona.

Nawa athar: is minor scale with raised the fourth and seventh degree half step, consist of main pentachord called iqed nawa athar and jins(second tetra chord) hijaz.the scale intervals are 1, 1/2, 11/2,1/2,1/2,11/2,1/2.common dgrees are sol,do. songs examples are the theme of jamil jamal by Farid elAtrache,music intro of min gher leh by Mohammed abd elwahab.the second verse of fakkarony by Om kalthoum.

Nikriz Maqam:contains first pentachord of nawaathar then tetrachord of minor .so it is minor scale except the fourth and sixth dgree is raised half step. the scale intervals are 1,1/2,11/2,1/2,1,1/2,1.examples are hawell ya ghannam by Najah Salam,iftekrny from baed annak by Om Kalthoum.

Hijazkar Maqam:belongs to the family of Hijaz Maqam,it consist of first tetra chord of Hijaz then another second tetrachord of hijaz, common degrees are do(shahinaz),sol(shadd araban), the intervals are 1/2,11/2,1/2,1,1/2,11/2,1/2.song examples are baattilak ya habib elrouh by Fairuz,Ana fe intizark by Om kalthoum.intro isaal rouhak by umm kulthum.

Shawq Afza Maqam: belongs to Major scale ,consist of first tetrachord of Major then second tetrachord of Hijaz,other name is zincolah on other degree,intervals are 1,1, 1/2,1,1/2,11/2,1/2.songs like Ala elbal song theme by Mohammed Abdo,music intro of iswaret el aroos by Fairuz.song theme of lessah faker by Umm Kulthum. 

Zanjaran Maqam: belongs to Hijaz Maqam,consist of first tetrachord of Hijaz then second tetrachord of Major.the scale intervals are 1/2,11/2,1/2,1,1,1/2,1. songs like Ya halwet eldonnya by Sayyed Makkawe.

Muhayyar Maqam: is based on emphasizing Bayati on Muhayyar degree(re4 jawab) and on Huseini(la4 jawab).songs like waynak ya darb elmahabba by mohammed abdo.

Lami Maqam: belongs to Kurd  maqam ,it has 2 main jins of kurd on top of eacher other.could be condisered as minor scale and emphasizing on the second degree. scale intervals are 1/2,1,1,1/2,1,1,1.it is common in Iraqi songs.examples song like Ana will Azab by Mohamed Abd elwahab,Ala kad Elshoua by Abd Elhalim Hafiz.Gulli ya hilo,sallmt elkalob by Nazim algazali.yalli nisytona.

Banjakah Maqam: belongs to sikah maqam with the emphasizing on sikah,byati,rast in high octave then byati or hijaz in low octive and landing either on low or high octave sikah degree. some majjas uses this maqam in Hijaz region.scale intervals are 3/4,1,1,3/4,3/4,1,3/4.

Iraq Maqam: belongs to sikah maqam family,but it has jin byati modulated on the third degree, its intervals are 3/4,1,3/4,3/4,1,1,3/4. examples Lana Allah by Mohamed Abdo ,Hali Taabany By Joseph saqr, Jayin by wadih Elsafi. wain Akhdak by Kazem Elsaher.

Bastanikar Maqam: is part of sikah maqam with jins saba modulated on the third degree,the scale intervals are 3/4,13/4,3/4,1/2,11/2,3/4.songs examples are Zalamu by Abd Elhalim Hafez.the verse of Ahl Elhawa by Umm kulthum,Anwarat Soudat Aseer by Mohammed Abdo.

Suznak Maqam: is part of Rast Maqam family consist of Diwan Rast then jins Hijaz.scale intervals are 1,3/4,3/4,1,1/2,11/2,1/2.songs like malik Ya hiloa malik by sabah fakhry,holom intro and theme song by Umm Kulthum. 

Pentatonic scale: it is  five notes  scale so we omit either  the fourth and seventh note (major pentatonic scale)or the second and sixth note (minor pentatonic scale).is commonly used in Africa and Asia,songs like Ezzayyokom by Sayyed Khlaifa .Isii Nafta by Nimco.
